Challenge night June 8th

Last meeting was a challenge night. The challenge was to create up to five photographs that satisfied the criteria of a subject selected from a list of twenty one topics.

The response to the challenge was very good with 41 projected images and over 20 prints submitted. The group discussion was quite lively with much participation and input from the members who submitted photographs. A challenge on the night was for the audience to identify which topic from the list was being depicted, with the member confirming whether or not the identification was correct. The balance of the discussion centred around the quality of the submissions and then extent to which they illustrated the subject of the chosen topic.

It was an interesting challenge that gave members plenty of scope for displaying their creativity. A hearty well done to the many members to took on the challenge and produced a most interesting and rewarding panel of photographs.
