Evaluations May 28, 2026

Our last meeting was the fourth evaluation night for the year and once again it showed the range of talent and expertise we have in our club. Although the numbers were a little down, in both submissions and  attendance, once again there was a significant number of excellent photographs to enjoy and discuss. The discussion was very well coordinated by Andrew who ensured that each submission was fully evaluated, with each photographer able to explain their motives and reasons for creating their photographs.

Congratulations to everybody who submitted their work and thanks to those who once again actively participated in our group discussion and assisted by offering helpful suggestions to the members who exhibited. Such positive suggestions are no doubt of great  assistance to all members. We can all learn from being part of good photographic evaluation.

For our next meeting we will be having a presentation on the topic of Advanced Shooting and Processing. This presentation will cover advanced in camera shooting techniques that can assist your creativity as well as some advanced processing steps that can help you refine your personal style and expand your skillset.
