Evaluation Night Thursday 10th July 2025

Our fifth evaluation night for the year saw another large number of entrants and submissions. Once again the photographs shown were of high overall quality with more than a few outstanding photos. There was a varied mix of most interesting subject matter and sound photo techniques. Thank you to everybody who submitted  work and who actively participated by explaining their motivation for producing such good and interesting photographs.

A great thank you also to Kristin who did a great job of moderating the discussion. We are fortunate to have so many capable members who can add so much the functioning of the club.

For our next meeting we will be having a presentation on the topic of Architectural Photography. This presentation will detail the techniques used to make creative photographs of architectural subjects both externally and internally. It will also cover photographing architectural details  and will give us valuable advice about how we can explore an interesting and abundant genre to make our photographs more creative. The presentation will be followed later in the year with an architectural photography challenge.
