Evaluation Night 13/11/25

Our seventh and final evaluation night for the year saw the usual quality in the submissions, along with a wide variety of subjects being shown in the photographs. Andrew Munkman, assisted by Rebecca Munkman, moderated the discussion. Together they kept the discussion moving along as well as interesting and relevant. The creators of the photographs were able to relate the reasons for creating the photographs they submitted and, where appropriate, some insight to the messages they were communicating.

Thank you to Andrew and Rebecca for their competent conduct of the evening. Thank you also to everybody who submitted  work and who actively participated by explaining their motivation for producing such good and interesting photographs.

We are most fortunate to have so many very good photographers in the club who can mount a high quality exhibition of photography.

Our next meeting is our important Annual General Meeting. It is not too late to nominate for committee should to wish to do so. As our AGMs are typically very short, the formal part of the evening will be a Members Present session. So if you have a photographic topic or technique which you would like to share by way of a five or ten minute talk, please let me know so I can put you on the list. If you have not yet been able to complete our members survey, it is not too late to do so. The results of the survey will be used by the new committee when setting next year’s program.

The meeting following the AGM will be our Annual Exhibition and Xmas party. Details will advised shortly.
