Evaluation Night #1 - Thursday 25th January

Last meeting was our first Evaluation Night for this year and it proved to be a very successful event. We had a very good attendance, with three potential new members, and a good number of entries, both projections and prints. The entries displayed a wide range of subject matter and styles with many creative and thoughtful photographs.

Our new display stand proved its worth as it made the prints considerably more viewable.

There was great participation in our group discussion, with many well considered and thoughtful evaluations. No doubt many exhibitors went away with some good suggestions to assist them in their photographic endeavours.

A big thank you to all members who submitted photographs and to those who helped make the photographic discussion most worthwhile.

We can look forward to our next Evaluation Night, which is our first challenge night, the subject being  'After Dark'. Report by Jim Crew - President
