Special Presentation 20th July - Effective Composition

Last night we presented another of our special presentations on the theme of “Effective Composition” as part of our program of Essential Skills for 2023. Prepared by Life Member Jim Crew, this presentation covered the essential elements that make up effective composition, whilst also debunking the useless “Camera Club” rules that are completely meaningless and inappropriate. Rounding out the night we presented several examples of images where the members were invited to discuss which of the tools of composition have been used. Lane Cove Creative has yet again demonstrated that is one of very few groups that actively teach and demonstrate the important skills needed to be a successful photographer.
