Special Presentation - Know your camera and controls by Jim Crew and Michael Smyth

Last night we continued our "Essential Skills" series, this time looking at exploring your camera and controls. We looked at camera types and uses, a quick comparison between a smartphone and a digital camera, looked at how your camera "lies" to you and explored in detail how we control exposure using the "holy Trinity" of controls - Aperture, shutter speed and ISO sensitivity.

 Finally we took a detailed look at how we can adjust the camera settings to suit our particular requirements.
