Happy 50th Anniversary
On Thursday 9th July 2020, the Lane Cove Creative Photography Club celebrated 50 years supporting local photographers in the community. Congratulations to all our members past and present for shaping the club to what it has become today.
Sadly we couldn’t celebrate in person due to continued social distancing rules. However, that didn’t stop us from grabbing a drink, sitting in our most comfy chair at home and through ZOOM.
Thank you to Margaret for sharing some stories of the past, many of which will feature in a Golden Jubilee booklet that the committee has produced. Well, I say the committee has produced, to be honest Margaret wrote the entire thing, so again, thank you Margaret. We will be making this available to all members very soon.
Next up was Jim, who took us through 50 year of Photography, a wonderful trip back in time peppered with a couple of awesome videos all about processing in the Darkroom. Click on the image above to enlarge. I am not sure if this was a coincident but Jims PowerPoint was exactly 50 slides long, Jim;)
