Evaluation Night At Speed No 2 | Best Ever
At Lane Cove Creative Photography we’re all about evaluation over competition and our At Speed evaluation nights give members a more personal opportunity to consider each other’s images while developing their own evaluation skills.
Not to be deterred by social distancing requirements, we embraced Zoom’s breakout room functionality to replicate a night of constructive small-group discussion under the guidance of evaluators extraordinaire Jim Crew, Michael Smyth and Steve Mullarkey.
Images and facilitators were rotated through three rounds so everyone could participate in a detailed evaluation of their own submissions, as well as having a chance to discuss others’ images.
We were treated to a stunning variety of images and it was great to see so many members trying out new techniques.
There was plenty of behind-the-scenes legwork to pull it off but, a huge thanks must go to Almitra Hill our Vice President for suggesting the use of breakout rooms and facilitating the evening. Once again, technology has enabled us to continue with our planned program.
