Kick Off 2019

Our first club night of 2019 will kick off with three mini presentations.

Almitra will introduce our program for the year. The committee has listened to members’ feedback and implemented a number of small changes that we hope will encourage individuals to take their photography to the next level.

This will be followed by a presentation on ‘What is a portfolio?’ by our club expert, Jim Crew.

Finally, John Chapman will tell us how he plans to mentor the Portfolio process and what he would like everyone to bring to the first meeting at his house.

Street Photography with Richard Lynch

Listen, learn, practice and share.

Richard will share his passion for street photography. “It’s all about engaging intimately with the world around you in an attempt to capture the unfamiliar in the familiar, to find the unseen in the mundane.”

Be sure to attend as there is an outing that follows this presentation which will give you a chance to practice what you learnt. We will then give you the opportunity to share your results at a subsequent Challenge night.
