Photographer Edward Burtynsky Presented by Lucie Loane

Edward Burtynsky is a Canadian Photographer whose work is dominated by a theme of Nature transformed by Industry. His images present a metaphor of the dilemma of our modern existence, where our pursuit of a modern lifestyle leaves permanent scars on the landscape. Burtynsky has produced over 10 books dealing with themes such as: Water, Salt Pans, Quarries, Australian Minescapes and several others. His work can be found at:
